Technical Supervisor

As a result of our continuous growth, a vacancy has arisen for a Technical Supervisor to form part of its growing and successful team. 

 

Overall Purpose

​

The Technical Supervisor oversees the implementation of IoT solutions, including vehicle tracking, level sensing devices, cold chain monitoring, and asset tracking, by managing on-field installations, leading installation teams, liaising with clients, and troubleshooting technical issues. 

Requirements

 

The suitable candidate should: 
 

• Be able to speak Maltese;

• Hold a car driving license;

• Have a good technical background;

• Be a team player;

• Be responsible and self-motivated;

• Experience in using 3D modelling software is considered an asset;

• Experience in similar job roles is considered an asset;

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

Project Management: Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of technical installations in the field, ensuring they are completed to high quality standards, and on time.

 

Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate a team of installers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

 

Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients during installations, addressing any concerns or inquiries, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the installation process.

 

Technical Expertise: Possess a strong technical background to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during installations, ensuring smooth operation and functionality of IoT devices.

 

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in technical installations.

 

3D Modeling Proficiency: Utilize 3D modeling software as needed to assist in IoT testing, and Product design.
