Product Overview

The IoT Pro Temperature & Humidity Module is a multi-channel environmental monitoring device designed to measure temperature and relative humidity using integrated digital sensors and convert these physical parameters into structured, reliable data for software platforms.

 

The module is intended for retrofit installation within storage and environmental monitoring scenarios such as warehouses, and enclosed spaces, without modification or replacement of existing infrastructure.

From a system architecture perspective, the device functions as a dedicated environmental data acquisition node at the edge, providing deterministic behaviour, long-term stability, and predictable data structures suitable for continuous monitoring, compliance validation, and system integration.

The module does not replace HVAC systems, controllers, or building management systems. Its role is to provide independent, verifiable temperature and humidity measurements for monitoring, compliance, and operational analysis which data can be used to enrich BMS systems.

Channel Architecture

The IoT Pro – Temperature & Humidity Module is implemented as a multi-channel environmental sensing hardware, allowing multiple sensing points to be monitored from a single device where required.

Supports multi-year battery-powered operation for continuous environmental monitoring. Where external power is available, the device may operate from a DC supply while maintaining battery backup to reduce maintenance requirements and also provide added value to monitor the external supply.

Multi-Network Architecture

Supports LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, LTE Cat-1, and Wi-Fi using a single integration model, allowing deployment in warehouses, basements, and industrial buildings where cellular coverage may be limited and local network infrastructure is available.

Antenna & Mechanical Configuration Flexibility

Supplied with an internal antenna for robustness in typical indoor installations, with support for external SMA antenna configurations where radio conditions require optimisation.

Field-Ready Retrofit Design

Designed for non-intrusive installation within existing buildings and storage environments, without downtime, interference with operational systems, or the need to pass new wiring if the battery power is chosen as a product configuration.
