The IoT Pro – Location Tracker Module is a multi-purpose industrial asset tracking device designed to provide precise location visibility and operational status of mobile and remote assets across diverse environments.
A key characteristic of the module is its flexible power architecture, allowing deployment on both unpowered and externally powered assets:

For unpowered assets, the device supports high-capacity internal batteries up to 17Ah, enabling multi-year autonomous operation with optimised GNSS and transmission duty cycles.

For powered assets, the module can operate from an external DC supply (10–30V) while maintaining an internal rechargeable battery backup, for security purposes.
The module combines multi-constellation GNSS positioning, low-power embedded architecture, and integrated I/O interfaces, enabling it to function as a reliable edge tracking node for asset monitoring systems.
It is engineered for retrofit deployment on existing assets such as containers, vehicles, machinery, and infrastructure equipment without requiring integration into existing control systems.


From a system architecture perspective, the device operates as an independent telemetry node, capturing location, movement behaviour, and auxiliary signals (e.g. ignition, access, sensor states), and transmitting structured data suitable for integration into fleet management, asset tracking, and infrastructure monitoring platforms.
